Migrants ---the third global wave

There are a lot of migrants around the world with the progression of globalization. Campared with the 1950s, the issue of migrants is more controversial in some countries.
For instance,America is a big immigration country, especially because the amendment of the civil law makes more new immigrators come to this wealthy country. so some state in America has set strict law against the illegal immigrants. In our country, we can see a lot of foreigners who are white people, Korean and Japanese in the metropolis, like Beijing, Shanghai. Most of them I meet are students who like chinese culture. others work here. Since there are strict controls on immigration into China, it's difficult for those political immigrants or war immigrants to move to China.
How do you think of immigrants as natives ? Are there some problems about immigrants in your country?

I don't think immigrants are negative and secondly I don't think it's surprising that they're going from their country to another one. Besides that immigration has been happening for centuries... also people from Europe went somewhere else to find luck and fortune - which a lot people don't realize here.

The populist party in Switzerland does actually talk a lot about how bad migrants are, though I think most of it is just rubbish. Sure, who wants criminals? Nobody. Almost all of them are trying to make a living, though... and apart from that they do some jobs nobody would like to do. Though sure, the capacity is not endless and the same counts for jobs but in my eyes there's just one good solution to the issue: we need to support their home countries. Not just with charity or false promises! If we send them free pullover we will destroy the local factories for example - but what are we doing? We do exactly this to keep the dependence from these countries... there are solutions against the wave of migrants but as long as we don't truly want to stop it, it'll simply go on... and some particular political parties will get more and more sympathisers.

In conclusion I think that we need to overthink our strategy in development aid and that we should get down to the root of the trouble - and that we must stop making false promises and unfair actions*.

*like protect our markets but forbade them to do so as well (happened in France - thanks to Sarkozy). What do we learn? It's all about profit... sure, it would be terrible for the particular workers if the jobs are getting out of France... but why did the politicians sign such a contract? ... sure, there's something more about it. (still talking about money..^^)
