Treasured Childhood Objects

I was just wondering whether you keep some objects you got in childhood and which are even now important to you.

Pictures! At least, not really objects, but some are quite important.
Otherwise it'd be a necklace from Malta with the cross on it which my mom brought me. It somehow has a special place in my heart. And some pluche I got years ago.

You are as old as you make yourself feel :P, no need for that yet ;)

Hmm, now I think of it, have to add some more things...
At first, my first badminton prize I won when I was 10 or 11, the first within a series of quite some more :P and 2 little wooden Dalarna horses from Sweden that for some reason have the honour of having a spot next to my bed for about 15 years.

Quite some time passed by, but I suppose I will revive the thread. I haven't told you what I still store in the attic. :)

My parents have kept quite a few things from my childhood, like paintings (they were not really that good), handwritten school notebooks and so on.

I have also an old notebook (I was about 5 or 6) with some notes in it (hilarious to read!). I always smile when I see how I wrote "Detektiv" because at this time I spelled it like this: "Dedektif". :P Fortunately, my spelling got better. Last but not least I have kept the majority of post cards, letters and birthday cards. ;) Until last year I clustered my door with post cards from all over the world - it looked quite stunning. :) It's just great to go through the cards because quite a few wonderful memories come back.

@Silvio: my parents did the same. Somehow I cannot remember where my old schoolworks etc ended up. But I guess somewhere in a big box in the attic :P
