Your Favourite Cuisine

Which one is your favourite cuisine? Are there any dishes from a country you prefer most?

For me it's definitely Italian food - that's also what we usually eat back home. Apart from that it would also be Thai food, which is just amazing! I started eating it in New Zealand and since then I went to a Thai restaurant every week in NZ and OZ. It might get a bit more difficult back home. Green Curry and Pad Thai are so yummy, aren't they? But we shouldn't forget pasta, spaghetti and lasagne... :)

Hmm... that's a good question...
I'd say Greek, helped by the grilled eggplant served every now and then with the main dishes. I don't eat it very often, but I simply like the combination of the grilled meat with a variety of other grilled stuff, like the mentioned eggplant and other vegetables ^^.
*Forgot to mention the pita (mostly with gyros)*

Sushi is also quite high on the list, fortunately there's a good sushi-restaurant in Leiden which is also not so very expensive ;) (well, still have it max. once every 2 months or so).

Others... Italian too of course (where should one be without spaghetti :P), typical German/Dutch food (the plain potatoes, meat and vegetables. And a Germknödel mit Mohn und Vanille Soße every once in a while is also quite likeable, though I have them with irregular intervals of several years (depending on going to Austria or so during winter :P)

In winter my fav dish is mashed potatoes with sauerkraut (a few years ago we managed to eat that almost every wednesday, from mid october till december/january :P)

I fall in love with Vietnam food recent years. Rice noodle, Fried rice with pineapple, and so on:3
Most of dishes I like are noodles such as udon, ramen(Japanese), pasta(Italian), nangmeon(Korean).
And I like other Japanese food like sashimi and sushi too, especially conveyor-belt sushi very much. It is fun to select sushi.

hmm... I really like Italian food, it's my favourite. Mexican food is also okayish. Sometimes we have also balkanese food like pita or filled paprika, which I really like. And then there is the Japanese food. I LOVE Yakitori!*___* also udon, ramen, sushi or onigiri (rice-balls). And all kind of mochi!^^ Korean and Chinese food is also really delicious (especially dim sum or filled buns).
