A good party can't go without it, chips with a good dip sauce. Today my sister celebrated her birthday so I was asked to prepare burrito's. I decided I wanted to serve nacho chips with guacamole as side dish and I wanted to share the easy recipe with you guys.
Guacamole
2 Avocado's
1/2 small onion
1 garlic clove
1 tomato
1-2 tablespoons sour creme
1 jalapeño or cayenne pepper
Sqeeze of lemon juice
Salt & pepper
First chop onion, garlic and tomato in small pieces. I prefer to remove the seeds and inside of the tomato. Remove the seeds of the jalapeño/cayenne pepper and chop it into small pieces. Put all chopped ingredients in a blender or food processor, add the avocado's, sour creme and a sqeeze of lemon juice, about one or two tablespoons should be sufficient but you can add more after blending. Add a pinch of salt and pepper and mix the ingredients until it is a smooth consistency.
After mixing taste and decide whether you want to add more lemon juice, salt or pepper.
If you don't have a a blender or food processor you can mash the avocado's down with a fork. Make sure you slice the rest of the ingredients as small as possible.
Serve the guacamole with nacho chips and enjoy.
What dip sauces and salsa's do you like? I'd love to see the recipes.
