I can understand if you want to be a vegetarian and I remain neutral about this topic. Everyone has to decide by themselves what kind of diet they want to have. I think a person can remain healthy without eating meat and it depends much more on your life style (whether you do sports, smoke, drink heavily,...).

There's one really bad point in meat: It's like 10 times less efficient to produce than grain or other plants. If we have not enough food to feed the world population we need to shorten the production of meat. If you don't eat meat now, it will be at least no big change. ;)

well, i dunt think so . we all know that the market decide everything. why the producers reduce the production of meat if there are so much demand for meat :?:
only the demand is not increasing anymore, which is possible to shorten the production of meat. :P

I'm not talking about the demand but about the space which is not indefinite on the earth. Okay, it's quite a theoritical discussion... haha we might stop here. I'm not sure whether the demand is not increasing anymore... it's a total luxury good and therefore not too many people on the earth are able to get it.

Yay, that's one reason why I'd do it as well... just because of your health. I think in the Western world we even eat too much meat... less wouldn't be too wrong. I stop now because I have no idea about the medical view on this topic. :) It's also not that interesting for me because it hasn't bother me yet.
