Street Food

In every city you can get some street food but everywhere it's different. What can you get in your country's capital or in a big city?

There's also a British Streef Fod Awards , by the way.

I can't think of a typical street food in Switzerland by now because you can just get a lot of Turkish food, I'd say. In New Zealand you simply could get Fish'n'Chips almost everywhere and especially in Auckland also a lot of Asian food.

Frikadellen and Kroketten :P. More or less not found in other countries. And you can get them out of 'the wall' :P And there are fish stalls where you can get Kibbeling (fried black(?) cod), herring and dutch shrimps and other kinds of fish. Those are the most typical dutch.

Turkish stalls are booming in the netherlands and are getting quite naturalized, so they're becomming also part of the streetview, apart from the standard snack stalls.

For me it depends on the way it's made :P. At our hometown's market the kibbeling was huge chunky :P, while at a neighbouring town they have kibbeling that looks a bit more prefab/machine made, but I like that taste better :P. So the last one I like, while the other is also OK, but not my fav :P

As for Switzerland I'd say... Bratwurst and/or Cervelat. Well of course like Silvio said, we have everywhere Turkish Food. We have also pizza pieces and I think hot dog is also popular (but well, not really swiss).
