What's the last movie you've seen?

As the title says.. What's the last movie you've seen?

For me it's Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. Just seen it in cinema 8) . Really cool film. The plot was overall not very predictable and it had nice characters. You won't have to get bored during the movie ;)
It was quite worth the money :P

Robin Hood in cinema... my last movie in New Zealand... cinema over there is just so much cheaper! :) Amazing film by the way - go for it if you haven't seen it yet.

Robin Hood was also on our list, together with Ghost Writer, but we choose Prince of Persia :P
RH sounds good indeed, so perhaps good for another round to the cinema ;)

Actually planned to see Ghost Writer with my parents, but the cinemas near my hometown don't show that film for some mysterious reason.. Evil :P

Ah I see... well you should just watch Robin Hood if you like action movies... there's quite a lot blood and warfare. If that sounds like a movie you still like go for it. :)

Ghost Writer? I haven't heard of it... well I'm not up to date anyway. So I'll have a look... and my little brother also recommended me to watch Prince of Persia. Sounds like I should go soon... well, why not?

The trailer from RH makes the film look kinda interesting, so I will see it probably ;)
Did you btw notice that it's from the director of Gladiator that also had Russel Crowe in the lead role? Typical that they again have the same director/lead actor combination.

Trailer Ghost Writer
Here's the trailer for GW. It has more or less no action, but especially conspiracies etc., so it might be a nice film for a change ;)

My last movie was... Kick Ass! We were just four poeple there, but the movie was hilarious! The best movie I've seen for a long time (well there were a few quite good movies, but this was just above all others!). It was so much fun... well I think they had a few problems with this movie in America, because there is a eleven or twelfe year old girl who kills some bad guys, but well... I didn't really care! The soundtrack was nice too!
All in all, a movie I'd love to see again!

I must admit I haven't heard much about Kick Ass and I don't know if it's really my type of movie, but it might be a good film for a movienight with some friends :P

I got to see The Ghost Writer yesterday. Good film, but... I didn't get the entire plot, because it was slightly confusing and a lot of conspiracy all around. Because of paying attention to mostly the thoughts of the main character you don't get a good view of what's happening in the rest of the plot. The ending was also quite abrupt, but not completely unexpected.
In short: A good movie, decent (political) thriller, but you'll probably have to see in twice to get the plot (at least, that'll be for me ;))

Last film was... Robin Hood! Made it to the cinema finally :P
Good film! Indeed recommendable ;). Nice switch of funny and exciting moments. And it didn't even show too much blood though :P (anyway, compared to what it could've been :P)

Before that I've seen 6 days 7 nights with Harrison Ford 8). The movie was quite ok, for a adventure/romance movie :P. Harrison still is a nice actor, haha

I've just watched the Rush Hour trilogy... haha, they're still funny. Which are your favourite comedies? I'm looking for some excellent movies which I haven't seen yet.

I don't watch comedies too often, at least mostly not when I watch them myself, so can't help you with that :P. Though the ones Arianne mentioned are good, haha :P. Especially in the first Ice Age film; the part with the Dodo's :D
Taekwondodo's attack! :P

Yesterday I saw the movie Agora in cinema. Don't know if anyone around here knows it, because it's not too well known and didn't play in all theatres.
Part of the story is about the clash of different religions in the 4th century A.D. in Alexandria. The movie was quite intense (a rather high amount of people slaying eachother, when they were not playing the philosopher xD). And the ending... was also not the most happy one, so be prepared.

It was a good movie, but rather long, so if you're not too interested in the subject, you'll probably won't like it.

Agora trailer

And... we were only with 4 people in the cinema xD. Obviously because of soccer. And the 4 of us were only girls :P

I've just seen Coach Carter and I'm totally impressed of the statement and the impact. It shows us that with endurance everything's possible and that we have to fight for something we want to achieve. A lovely movie and I can totally recommend it to you.

What do you think about the fad that there's always a part 2, 3, 4 and so on in movies which were successful in cinemas? I stopped counting how many Shrek movies out there are, for example. The same counts for Ice Age and many other movies.

I usually don't like the 2-4th parts of films not as much as the original. From Ice Age the first was by far the best. 2 was sort of OK and 3 was... disappointing ;).
So in my opinion they don't have to make sequels always, as it sometimes ruins the film. They also have some sequels of Disney movies, that often have another style of drawing and have a less interesting storyline. One of the only sequels that was OK was The Rescuers Down Under, which was also the only sequel that made it as 'Disney Classic'. I'm not fond of movies as Lady and the Tram 2 or Bambi 2 and such :P.

If they'd make sequels for un and not for money, they could be better perhaps, but now it's often that they just try to make a lot of money based on the success of the first movie.

OT: Don't really know which the last movie was I've seen. Must be Air Force One with Harrison Ford 8). Before that Pride and Prejudice and Mamma Mia

I've just seen 'The Last King Of Scotland' which I can hardly recommend if you want to know more about Uganda's history. It's definitely not for the faint-hearted, though. So keep this in mind... it's a thrilling story and you'd like to talk or think about it afterwards.

Who has seen it already? I'm just wondering...

Is The Last King of Schotland sort of like The Constant Gardener / Blood Diamond such type of movies? If yes, I'll probably watch it some time.

Last movies I've seen were The Mask of Zorro and The Lord of the Rings 3. (though I cheated with the last one, by skipping some scenes, mostly the Frodo/Sam scenes :P)

Well, at least I suppose so. I haven't seen the just mentioned movies...

Haha, I also skip lots of scenes when I watch Lord of the Rings - I've just seen too many times now. :) And yes, also mostly Frodo/Sam scenes.
