Movies that make/made you cry

Everybody has some... even the most tough guys must have some moments during a certain film that make them cry...

So share us your movies ;)

Oh, wow! For me, it has to be "Steel Magnolias." If you haven't seen the movie, I don't want to ruin it for you by telling you the part that makes me cry, but if you've seen it, you will know. I cry so hard at that part that I am sobbing out loud and can't get my breath. It is so embarrassing, I can't watch it with other people in the room because I don't want them to see me cry so hard.

Jane Eyre
especiallly when I heard Jane said " I have as much soul as you ". That's a fantastic scene.

Oooh, there is one movie I really had to cry. It's called "Hana Bi" and it's a Japanese movie. They talk rarely in this movie, but everything is just so sad... I cried pracitacally the whole time (and this is not normal for me!xD) The movie's from Takeshi Kitano and he's also playing the main role. And I think it's a really different movie, especially if you know other movies with him.

For me it's definitely Blood Diamond, still gets me after having seen it several times. Titanic used to make me cry xD (as some animated movies.... :P), but also De Tweeling ( a Dutch film), Miss Potter, A Walk to Remember and some I don't recall at the moment.

I can't watch it with other people in the room because I don't want them to see me cry so hard.

I also often try to avoid such circumstances. When it's at my parents' place, it's not really a big deal, because they don't really think it's weird, but when I'm with friends I try to avoid crying at films, which only just worked out when I saw Blood Diamond for the first time. I was sitting ther, tears filling my eyes and I tried to blink them away, which worked good enough at the moment.

Basically there's just one movie: Schindler's List. It's been one of the toughest movies to watch for me... I was thinking about this masterpiece even weeks after I've watched it. I watch it by myself, by the way. I wouldn't dare to watch it with friends... :)
