Miniseries

Which miniseries have you seen and which is your favorite one?

I have a dvd box with 10 (mostly historical/mythical based) miniseries and of those I like The Odyssey (1997) best, together with Jason and the Argonauts (1963). Probably because I'm into Greek mythology :P.

The Odyssey has simply a good cast and the story is quite good adapted from the original story. Though it had some goofy things at some moments, like certain sentences that were getting annoying xD. For example: "It is I, Hector" followed moments later by "It is I, Odysseus" and "It is I, Poseidon", so that was a bit weird :P.
Despite the movie lasting about 3 hours, in my opinion it did not feel like that long ;)

Now it's your turn :P

@DAN : i agree with u. the above is not the miniseries, they are serialized drama. :P
i love Big bang theory too. i prefer sheldon. he is so smart .sometimes he looks like an innocent child , who should be taken care of. but somtimes he acts as a devil. :P
when i 'm wtching the funny scenes, i'm so happy that i'm almost spliting my sides. :D

@Wit I don't know they are all pretty cool. The Big Bang Theory is one of the best nerd hummer show I've seen in a long time. I had season 1 & 2 on DVD but I lost them... :( I didn't even get to finish watching them....:'(

Yay... I love The Big Bang Theory too, by the way. It's one of my favourites as well... it's just too hilarious. ;)

I enjoy supernatural!

I enjoy Cw's Supernatural because the characters (Dean and sam) are very special, the fact that both are stubborn but they stick up for each other no matter what. That's a very good humanly trait. Plus i love supernatural themed shows like vampire diaries etc since i love side effects. I used to like smallville but the character development is too slow. Season 10 is coming but superman still doesnt know how to fly! haha

There is one really great serie missing in this thread: 'How I Met Your Mother'. It's been my favourite show for quite some time and is simply hilarious. So that'd be something to check out, if you've already seen 'The Big Bang Theory'. ;)

'My Name is Earl' is sometimes also pretty cool, isn't it? Sadly I don't really like that background...

If you know any other great comedy series please tell me... it's always good to have some episodes as reserve. :P
