Are there any good movies from your country?

I'm wondering whether there are good movies which were produced in your country. We all watch Hollywood or Bollywood (okay, not me - but there are always some around who're watching it). So in fact we have easy access to mainstream films but a lot of great movies don't have such a big budget and therefore they're usually not as famous. Is there a good movie you can think of which counts in this category?

I'd love to watch some alternative movies which are a bit more insightful than the normal blockbuster. :)

There are some good Dutch films, but I don't know if some of them have subtitles or so.
Some good movies (or as far I've heard) are:
De Tweeling ('The Twins') (had an oscar nomination for Best Foreign movie)
Bride Flight
De Gelukkige Huisvrouw
Komt een vrouw bij de dokter
De Storm (about the flood in 1953)
Alles is Liefde (seems to be quite nice. The Dutch equivalent of Love Actually)
Zwartboek

hm... I don't watched many swiss movies... but "das Fräulein" was really nice! Well perhaps it is because the main characters are all from ex-yugoslavia (and for me as a half croatian, it's interesting). hmm, the other movie I know and which seemed to be very popular was "Achtung, fertig, Charlie!" Well, in short summary, it is a somehow a swiss version of American Pie... not because the main character is a virgin, but the humour is similar... It was funny watching it one time, but I don't think it will be that funny when you watch it a second time.

I really like movies from various countries. I like Spanish movies and those from Scandinavia.
