What was your favourite movie when you were a kid?

My one was Lion King I think... we even bought the tape afterwards.

By the way... the first movie I have seen in cinema was Pocahontas. ;) (At least it's the one I really remember...)

The Lion King was by far one of my favorites!
Ferngully also scores quite high in this ranking :P (it's from Fox, but still a Disney worthy movie ;))
Aladdin & Pocahontas are also in the list!
(we owned these on vid, so I know them better than the ones I only saw in cinema ;))

First cinema film was Beauty and the Beast I think

have you seen Radio Flyer? I saw that on HBO.

radio flyer is about two young brothers about 8-9 years old starring Elijah wood from lord of the rings and Joseph Mozello, they are abused by thier parents and they make a plan for a great escape. if you have the chance you can catch it on HBO, very heart warming movie!

Thanks for your recommendation! So I'll see whether I can get somewhere "Radio Flyer"... ;-)

So far I haven't seen Cinderella... but Ithink I had an old cassette in my childhood which I listened one time.

Hm okay.. so I'll also give The Sounds of Music a shot.

Edit: Now I watched "Radio Flyer" and it's such a great story... really impressive - the dream of every boy perhaps? At least to fly was also for me in the childhood a very thrilling thought, but I didn't try to create an airplane by my own. :D

Today I stumbled upon the soundtrack from "Land before Time" :D

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jMD5nzSSOMU

Which reminded me, This was also one of my favorite childhood movies! Always watched in German, because we recorded it from TV, that fact never bothered me, because I was used to that film in German :P
